Role Profile

The successful candidate is responsible to work between R&D and Supplier Engineering to get a new supplier on board, this will coordinate testing of the new material, Project Managing the build and ensuring the line won’t go down. Work with R&D to come up with solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and lead the implementation of alternative materials through best practices in research, analysis, and selection
• Interacting with R&D and other functions to define test builds to better understand next steps
• Collaborating with project team and base business product teams to define solutions.
• Own and drive process, equipment value improvement projects, and strategic cost projects within designated areas.
• Provide inputs on Equipment/Systems issues, offering corrective or alternative actions based on thorough analyses.
• Foster continuous improvement by interfacing with peers and cross-functional groups to enhance workflows and methodologies

Qualifications

• Degree required: Level 8 bachelors related engineering degree:  manufacturing, mechanical, quality, bio-medical
• Proven experience: 2/3 years minimum experience
• Core Project Management Skills
