Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale strategic projects at the plant level, driving value through the deployment of digital solutions and applying the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology to optimize the Value Improvement Process (VIP) in key functional areas via Lean?Based Processes (LBP).
  • Boost efficiency, overhead and VIP savings within current manufacturing operations by using line blow-ups and facilitating Kaizen events to support site P&L performance.
  • Spearhead the site's digital strategy, owning data analytics to accelerate digital adoption across manufacturing and functional areas in support of site VIP objectives.
  • Lead the Business Excellence Strategy, coordinating the creation, deployment, and implementation of multi-year plans; engage stakeholders, evaluate VIP opportunities, and manage associated risks throughout.
  • Maintain a global perspective on Operational Excellence, participating in and leading global initiatives to strengthen and grow OpEx capabilities.
  • Drive change and adoption through mentoring and the strategic use of change management tools.

Key Requirements:

  • Level 8 Degree in a STEM discipline is essential
  • Minimum 5-7 years demonstrated People Leadership within a comparable environment.
  • Proven track record in deploying Lean and Six Sigma practices to drive continuous process improvement.
  • Proven experience managing digital transformation initiatives.
  • Highly effective in influencing and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven expertise in managing organizational change initiatives.
