CREGG have open positions for experienced  maintenance/mechanical technicians to join our Cork based medical device manufacturing client. Excellent opportunity for trade qualified candidates OR candidates with a background in production line maintenance.

About the role:  
Night shift role.3 nights on 4 nights off in week 1. Then the shift alternates to 4 nights on 3 nights off. 6.30pm-6am. Our client also has opportunities upcoming on straight day shift.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots production line issues regarding sensors/motors/conveyor systems/robots
• Continually seeks to drive / improvements in process design, layout and operational performance.
• Engaging with technicians, operators, and other cross-functional teams to ensure business process success.
• Contribution in NPI (New Product Introduction) development
• Execute new equipment introductions and carry out validations. 
• Demonstrates good working knowledge and application of validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NFQ Level 6 in a Technical Discipline or trade qualified mechanic/fitter/electrician encouraged to apply. 
• Automated Manufacturing equipment experience advantageous but not essential
