Accounts Administrator – Permanent – Galway
CREGG are currently recruiting finance candidates for this position with a reputable company located in Galway. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join the finance team and contribute to the smooth financial operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update financial databases and records.
- Provide support during audits by organizing and preparing relevant documentation.
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by the finance manager.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
