Audit Senior – Limerick
CREGG is delighted to be recruiting a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Senior to a well-known practice in Limerick.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in external audit
- Strong technical knowledge of current accounting and auditing standards
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct independent audits in accordance with professional standards
- Understand client’s business operations, objectives, and internal control structure
- Identify and evaluate areas of potential risk and recommend solutions
- Prepare audit reports and discuss findings with management
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients
- Progress and ensure timely completion of audit assignments
- Provide technical support and advice on accounting and auditing matters
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory developments and best practice standards
