Audit Senior – Limerick

CREGG is delighted to be recruiting a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Senior to  a well-known practice in Limerick.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in external audit
• Strong technical knowledge of current accounting and auditing standards
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct independent audits in accordance with professional standards
• Understand client’s business operations, objectives, and internal control structure
• Identify and evaluate areas of potential risk and recommend solutions
• Prepare audit reports and discuss findings with management
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients
• Progress and ensure timely completion of audit assignments
• Provide technical support and advice on accounting and auditing matters
• Stay up-to-date on regulatory developments and best practice standards
