Café Team Lead – Permanent – Bunratty

About the Role

We are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Café Team Lead in a busy environment for our client based in Bunratty, Co. Clare.  The role involves managing a team, delivering excellent customer service, a good multi-tasking approach, prioritising tasks and ensuring all targets are met or exceeded.   The role requires flexibility. This role report to the Food & Beverage Manager.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The Café Team Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • The day to day running of a busy Café.
  • Training and consistent mentoring of all Food and Beverage Assistants.
  • Delegating in an efficient manner, ensuring all team members have a clear understanding of their duties, the product offerings, the required standards of food presentation and attention to their workstation and its environment.
  • Promoting a positive working environment for all the team.   Optimising opportunities to motivate and enhance performance levels of the team.
  • Ensuring all customers receive a warm welcome, providing excellent customer service.
  • A robust and practical approach to food safety at all times, while ensuring HACCP and hygiene practices are constantly maintained.
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining biweekly staff rosters on company software.
  • Weekly Food & Beverage ordering with company suppliers.
  • Dealing with any customer comments and feedback in a timely fashion
  • Ensuring all customers receive a warm welcome, providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
 

    • The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and customer service.
    • Must have a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
    • Must have hands-on approach, be self- motivated and be capable of multi- tasking.
    • Must have excellent communication and people management skills.
    • Previous working experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
    • Training in HACCP principles is a requirement.
