Experienced Practice Accountant

CREGG is delighted to be recruiting an experienced Practice Accountant to join our team in Limerick. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial advice and services to a range of clients. You must have at least 5 years of experience in practice accounting and be able to work effectively with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and other reports for clients
• Prepare and review tax returns
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare budget and forecast plans
• Analyse financial data and provide advice
• Monitor and manage client accounts
• Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Provide advice on financial strategies and risk management

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in practice accounting
• Knowledge of accounting systems and processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• CPA or equivalent qualification is desirable
