Extrusion Machine Operator

Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator – Permanent – Shannon!

Job Summary: We are looking for an Extrusion Machine Operator for a production facility based in Shannon, Co. Clare. The ideal candidate will have previous extrusion experience and a focus on continuing improvement of quality and manufacturing processes.

This is a role that requires the candidate to work a shift pattern that will rotate between days and nights.

Requirements:
 

• Safely operate extrusion equipment in the manufacturing of plastic Master Rolls.
• Maintain extrusion production schedule to support slitting operations and die cut production orders/schedule needs.
• Assist with operating granulator, recycling production and extrusion waste into regrind material for use in extrusion.
• Monitor regrind to be mixed at a rate per company specifications.
• Enter Resin and colorant batch/lot number into ERP system to be applied to master rolls, providing traceability of product throughout the entire manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

• The candidate will need at least 1 year + experience as an extrusion operator.
• Comfortable using desktop computer software.
• Forklift experience.
