Summary:
Our client provides all aspects of Facilities Maintenance Services to both public and private sector clients across a range of different industries. These options range from Civil Works and Building Projects to Professional Cleaning services.
They deliver a nationwide service that is efficient, professional and industry leading.
This is a Monday-Friday role and is based fully on site in South Limerick.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinating facilities work orders from initial request to work & job closure with client, facilities team, and contractors.
- Requesting and seeking quotes from sub-contractors.
- Managing contractors and health & safety documentation.
- Managing job request, PO & sales tracker.
- Trading supplier invoices in company software system.
- Previous experience working in a facility and or technical environment would be preferred due to knowledge required of working with contractors and essential H&S requirements
- Carrying out Method Statements & Risk Assessments for projects.
- Ensure the accurate processing of all paperwork and the ability to manage and own relevant spreadsheets
- Completing tasks within defined timeframes.
Skills & Requirements:
- A knowledge of Sage Accounting is preferable but not essential.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Facilities, Construction, or similar industry.
- Previous experience working in a facility and or technical environment would be preferred due to knowledge required of working with contractors and essential H&S requirements
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Packages is essential in particular Word & Excel
- Previous experience of managing and implementing Health and Safety procedures and processes essential
- Good telephone manner & strong communication skills are required as client liaison is critical to this role.
- Ability to multitask and work on own initiative is essential
- Dependable and flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a team
