Factory Manager

Factory Manager Wanted!

The newly created role will support the Technical Plant Manager. It is a senior hands-on role and is a full-time, permanent, on-site position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day production operations and factory facilities
• Drive cost control measures in output, quality, yield, labor utilization, and waste
• Ensure manufacturing of products in accordance with customer specifications
• Minimize downtimes and prioritize breakdown management
• Support shift supervisors in labor resource planning and disciplinary processes
• Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensure compliance with quality management systems
• Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements
• Facilitate new product development and ensure customer specifications are met
• Manage production facilities and equipment for safety and maintenance
• Identify and implement operational improvements for continuous enhancement

Requirements:

• Proven Production/Factory management experience in the medical device industry
• Minimum Degree in Engineering with technical know-how and acumen
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills, including time management and motivating people
• Creativity and innovation for developing new ideas and concepts
• Organized with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Critical thinker to facilitate decision-making
• Track record of delivering effective change
