Financial Analyst
CREGG is delighted to be recruiting a Financial Analyst to join a fast pace financial services company in Galway. The ideal candidate will be able to provide commercial understanding to other team members and complete reviews of agreements and relationships with third parties.
candidates would also be expected to execute projects focusing on pricing strategies and other objectives of the business. Please note this role will require the candidate to be based out of the Galway office Wed – Fri every week.
Responsibilities
• Working with the Commercial Director to understand supplier relationships and commercials
• Support the Commercial Director to create and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Reviewing and forecasting performance of current and future periods and comparison to targets
• Ensuring the accurate application of pricing into the portfolio to achieve margin requirements
• Lead regular calls to discuss strategy with senior stakeholders, comparing performance to prior forecasts
• Take ownership of other margin areas and lead on ideas and projects to support strategies
• Maintaining and evolving pricing process, in line with policies
• Create reporting to provide insight on performance
• Implement ideas to improve performance of the portfolio
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Mathematics with a strong aptitude for figures
• High attention to detail and confident in creating and maintaining checks
• Self-motivated and works well both independently and with colleagues
• Ability to prioritise tasks from stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
• Ensure adequate cover/planning is in place to complete to within deadlines, including seasonal holidays
• Managing stakeholders’ effectively
• Comfortable in delivering presentations to a range of audiences
