Forklift Warehouse Operative
CREGG is actively recruiting for an experienced Forklift Warehouse Operative for a busy Freight business in Rathcoole, Dublin.
Shift Times : Rotatory shift cycle, Monday – Friday.
1st week – 11.30am – 20.00pm
2nd week – 6.00am – 14.30pm
Pay Rate: €13.51 morning shift & €14.86 Evening shift
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Loading & Unloading:
To be responsible for receiving and inspection of deliveries and ensuring that safe unloading procedures are followed.
To ensure that incoming materials are stored, stacked, and distributed according to company procedures and instruction from the Warehouse Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager.
Ensure compliance with all relevant SOPs at all times.
Carry a valid Counterbalance & PPT Licence
Carry out Stock Checks as assigned and report all discrepancies to Team Leader/Supervisor/ Manager. Carry out remedial action as advised by Team Leader/Supervisor/ Manager.
To prepare finished goods for packing and dispatch.
To process all necessary documentation within the Warehouse and complete all relevant system transactions.
Operating Forklifts (Counterbalance/Reach/PPT):
Only trained and authorized warehouse operatives shall be permitted to operate a powered industrial truck.
Warehouse Housekeeping:
Carry out cleaning assignments given by Team Leader/Supervisor/ Manager to ensure warehouse is kept tidy and up to expected standards.
Maintain good housekeeping at the job. Keep materials orderly. Prevent piles from falling or shifting (tie or support if necessary). Clean up oil, grease, and water spills right away.
Carry out any further tasks as specified by the Supervisor / Manager.
