Forklift Warehouse Operative, Day Shift
CREGG Recruitment are actively looking for high volume of Warehouse Operatives for picker/packer duties as well as sporadic forklift duties, for a busy food distribution facility in St Margarets, 10 min drive from Swords.
You need your own transport to get to this location.
How you will spend your day:
- Implementing the highly skilled role of Forklift Duties, on a Reach Truck operated machine
- Using correct manual handling techniques.
- Manoeuvring products with great care to protect the quality and minimize damage and waste.
- Responsible for the production and/or packing of a variety of products to the agreed standards efficiently
- Paying close attention to the quality of the packs. Escalating to the Team Leader if a problem is identified
Job requirements:
- Own transport mandatory, due to location and hours of work!
- Previous Reach Truck Forklift experience needed (if your certificate is recently out of date, in-house training is provided).
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to deal with problems and solve them effectively.
Hours of Work:
- 5/7 days a week (including weekends)
- 08:00 start – 17:00 finish
Rate of Pay:
- €13.50 per hour
Contract type:
- Full time.
- 12 month with a view of permanent (for the right candidates).
