NPI Engineer

Job Title/ Position: NPI Engineer

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science/Technology/Engineering or equivalent experience in a medical device environment
• 2-3 years experience in new product introduction, manufacturing, quality or process engineering, preferably in catheter manufacturing
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes used for manufacturing catheters, including extrusion, molding, balloon forming, braiding, packaging, and other assembly techniques

Duties/Accountabilities:

• Lead projects and project teams to meet project goals
• Plan, implement, and coordinate new product introductions
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards
• Source and implement tooling, equipment, and technologies
• Ensure effective and comprehensive customer communication
• Coordinate testing, evaluation, and control of equipment measures to monitor and support product quality
• Plan and implement manufacturing cell layouts, work station design, and material handling
• Manage PAO/Trainer/Technician/Associate/NPI Engineers, as applicable (Senior NPI Engineer)
• Adhere to plant safety and health & safety requirements
• Contribute to enhanced energy performance by conservation of energy where possible
• Contribute to the continual improvement activities of the OH&S, Environmental and Energy Management systems
