NPI Engineer 

Location: Carrick-on-Shannon (Co. Leitrim) – Permanent position
Industry: Medical Device

Responsibilities:
 

• Lead projects and teams to meet on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets.
• Plan, implement, and coordinate New Product Introductions (NPI) including design, process validation, training, and more.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards during design and development.
• Source and implement tooling, equipment, and technologies.
• Coordinate with departments for material supply.
• Maintain effective customer communication.
• Plan and coordinate testing and quality control.
• Develop manufacturing processes and layouts.
• Manage project teams and ensure effective communication.
• Participate in areas such as Customer Complaints, CAPA's, etc.
• Contribute to safety, environmental, and energy performance.

Qualifications

• Third-level engineering qualification in Polymer, Biomedical, Mechanical, Design, or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of NPI, manufacturing, quality, or process engineering experience.
• Experience in Project Management for NPI, preferably in Medical Device.
• Competent in manufacturing processes like extrusion, molding, balloon forming, etc.
