NPI Engineer II

Position: New Product Introduction Engineer II
Location: Galway

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of NPI and product development activities, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
• Manage projects from concept to commercialization, including budgeting, prioritization, and resource management.
• Conduct design and development of new products according to customer specifications.
• Perform prototyping, testing, and validation of product designs.
• Identify and implement new technologies to support robust products and processes.
• Develop and document standardized work instructions and processes.
• Conduct process verification and validation for product release.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Contribute to the improvement of management systems, such as OH&S, environmental, and energy management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Bio-Medical) preferred.
• 3-4 years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Project management and/or Six Sigma qualification highly desirable.
• Process experience in grinding, molding, EDM, and/or laser processes is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different functions.
• High-performance mindset and ability to foster engagement within the team.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience with product and process validation.
