NPI Engineer II
Position: New Product Introduction Engineer II
Location: Galway
Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of NPI and product development activities, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
- Manage projects from concept to commercialization, including budgeting, prioritization, and resource management.
- Conduct design and development of new products according to customer specifications.
- Perform prototyping, testing, and validation of product designs.
- Identify and implement new technologies to support robust products and processes.
- Develop and document standardized work instructions and processes.
- Conduct process verification and validation for product release.
- Adhere to safety and health regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Contribute to the improvement of management systems, such as OH&S, environmental, and energy management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Bio-Medical) preferred.
- 3-4 years of experience in the medical device industry.
- Project management and/or Six Sigma qualification highly desirable.
- Process experience in grinding, molding, EDM, and/or laser processes is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different functions.
- High-performance mindset and ability to foster engagement within the team.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with product and process validation.
