Part Qualified Trainee in Tax – Limerick
CREGG is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-qualified trainee in tax in Limerick. This position will provide the ideal candidate with an opportunity to gain valuable experience and training in the field of tax and accounting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of tax returns for clients and stakeholders, providing advice on tax matters, and identifying areas of potential improvement in tax compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation, identify areas of potential improvement in tax compliance, and advise clients accordingly.
- Provide advice to clients on tax-related matters, such as deductions, tax credits, and filing requirements.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with clients, ensuring their questions and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and review client tax documents, including financial statements, tax returns, and other tax-related documents.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory filing requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Part-qualified in Tax, CTA or ACA qualification.
- Proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
