Reach Forklift Operative, Nangor Rd, Days
Cregg Recruitment is actively looking for a Reach Forklift Warehouse Operative, for a busy logistical facility in Nangor Road, Clondalkin Dublin 22.
Day Shift TImes : 5 AM – 1.15pm OR 12pm – 8.15pm
Weekly Shift : Monday – Friday
Pay Rate : €13.93 p/h OR 14.59
Contract : 12 mth contract, with a view to permanent contract
A brief summary of the role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible forklift duties within a busy warehouse facility
- You role will also add picking and packing product orders to meet customer demands.
- Items picked and packed must be 100% accurate in relation to quantity, product, and batch number (where applicable), whilst adhering to Health and Safety and warehouse
- Cleanliness policies.
- The Forklift Operator will report to the warehouse supervisor.
How you will spend your day:
- Implementing the highly skilled role of Forklift Duties, on a Reach Truck operated machine
- Using correct manual handling techniques.
- Manouvouring products with great care to protect the quality and minimize damage and waste.
- Responsible for the production and/or packing a variety of products to the agreed standards efficiently
- Paying close attention to the quality of the packs. Escalating to the Team Leader if a problem is identified
Ideally, you will possess the following:
- Previous Reach Truck Forklift experience is essential (if your certificate is recently out of date, in house training is provided)
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to deal with problems and solve them effectively
- Ability to work well either individually or as part of a team
- Potential progression internally for the right people
