Job Title: Cabin Interior Senior Design Engineer – EASA Part 21J
Location: Shannon, Ireland
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabin Interior Senior Design Engineer to join a dynamic team in Shannon, Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable organization that offers Design, Production, and Maintenance services to clients worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Provide crucial support to the design office team, Head of Design, and Head of the Office of Airworthiness
- Conduct working-level design activities and potentially assume CVE level responsibilities
- Lead the team in producing design and contractual outcomes
- Collaborate with the existing 21.J design team on modifications, repairs, and STCs in the areas of interiors, structures, and avionics
- Contribute to the development of proposals
- Explore career progression opportunities based on performance
Requirements:
- Qualified in a recognized Aeronautical discipline or possess significant technical experience in aerospace design
- Track record of working on Airbus, Boeing, and other aircraft types in a design capacity
- Strong understanding of verification of certification programs and compliance documents
- Preferably eligible to be appointed as a CVE signatory within one year; previous EASA CVE signatory experience desirable
- Familiarity with EASA Part 21 Subpart J organization preferred
- Active participation in design certification processes, component/equipment development, or qualification programs
- Proven technical leadership experience in a design office environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD designs
- Excellent task and time management skills
- Willingness to travel as per project requirements
- Confidence in conducting aircraft surveys worldwide
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work directly with customers at a technical level
- Eligibility to live and work in Ireland
