Welder Fabricator
The Fabricator will be responsible for welding our steel structural components and preparing them for painting. Produce parts to a high quality and standard, and in an efficient manner
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete welding of structural steel components for our products.
- MIG / MAG and TIG welding processes.
- Follow company welding procedures and specifications.
- Single pass and multi-pass welds.
- Lifting and moving components using an overhead gantry crane.
- Adhering to quality control standards and inspections, repair of welds as necessary.
- Cleaning and dressing welds (Removing spatter, imperfections, etc.) following weld completion
- Removing defective welds and completing repairs as required.
- Flexible to work outside regular hours if required.
- Operate equipment and tools which include forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders (portable & bench).
- Manual Handling, abrasive wheel training, and Forklift licence would be advantageous.

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Attributes:
- A recognised Metal Fabricator / Welder trade apprenticeship or an advanced welding training course Experience in MIG / MAG & TIG welding processes.
- Experience reading welding symbols and working in accordance with company welding procedures is essential.
- Experience in the use of overhead cranes and lifting equipment would be an advantage.
- Experience with heavy steel construction would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years experience required.

- Hours of Work – Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 16:00pm.
