Role Profile
CREGG seek an experienced Facilities Engineer to take responsibility for the construction of a new clean room on our clients Cork based site. Ideal role for those with a mechanical engineering and HVAC Maintenance background.
Apply if you are a recent graduate or up to 3 years experience in a similar field.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification required
- Proven experience: 1-3 years experience as Project Engineer (open to candidates from construction background)
- Experience in Construction and or Facilities Management.
- Sound knowledge of facilities/ maintenance/construction project based activity.
Responsibilities:
Complete project based Health & Safety checks.
Support miscellaneous building, facilities, construction and engineering projects.
Support facilities and construction activities throughout site.
Oversee Suppliers, Vendors and Subcontractors ensuring they meet contracted obligations in a safe, effective and efficient manner and seek opportunities for improvement.
Manage Vendor, Supplier and Subcontractor Insurance, Safety, Method and Environmental documentation.
Assist management in day to day facilities support.
Coordinate and support facilities activity, taking responsibility for scoping and planning ensuring timely close outs.
Budget management.
Good communication skills – the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with internal stakeholders, external contractors and service providers.
