Kitchen Fitter

CREGG is currently recruiting experienced Kitchen Fitters on behalf of a well-established client. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople who take pride in high-quality workmanship and delivering a professional service.
The Role:
You will be responsible for installing kitchen units, worktops, and appliances to a high standard. The role requires a strong understanding of technical drawings, accurate measuring and cutting, and the ability to work both independently and alongside other trades.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install kitchen cabinets, worktops, sinks, taps, and integrated appliances
• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Measure and cut materials using appropriate tools
• Make on-site adjustments to accommodate custom layouts or unforeseen issues
• Ensure all fittings are secure, level, and functional
• Liaise with clients on design specifications, timelines, and any necessary changes
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and decorators to ensure smooth project completion
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Carry out minor adjustments or repairs to existing installations when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Fitter, Carpenter, or similar trade background
• Previous experience fitting kitchens is essential
• Confident in reading and working from technical drawings
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication skills and a professional approach to client interactions
• Ability to manage your own workload and maintain a tidy workspace
• Adherence to health and safety standards at all times
