General Operative/Cleaner

CREGG Recruitment are looking for a full time General Operative/Cleaner for full time work in Collooney, Co. Sligo.

Please note site is 10 min drive from Sligo Town. This is a 3-month guaranteed contract with a view of long term employment for the right candidate.

Our client is a national value center (warehouse) looking to grow and expand their business.

Job description – General Operative/Cleaner:

• Ensure all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned. 
• Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary. 
• Ensure regular checks of equipment and report any deficiencies.  
• Check equipment is safe and working. 
• Follow the Health and Safety Regulations and Fire Policy. 
• Report hazards to Management. 
• Maintain component hygiene standards. 
• Ensure that clothing, including footwear and headgear, and personal hygiene is of the highest standards at all times. 
• Suggest areas of improvement and take any corrective action, as required. 

Rate of Pay – Weekly payment:

• €14.50 per hour

Hours of Work:

• Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00
• Friday 08:00 – 16:00

General Operative/Cleaner – Job requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
• Flexible approach to hours and duties

Contract type:

• Full time (39 hours a week)
• Temporary (3 months), with a view of long term employment
