Maintenance Manager
Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join a thriving organisation in Co. Clare
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing our Client’s electrical, mechanical, and operative teams to ensure effective and efficient maintenance of our Client’s infrastructure to the highest safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance schedules according to priority, cost, timelines of tasks and compliance requirements.
  • Implement maintenance schedules based on task priority, budget considerations, deadlines, and compliance obligations.
  • Lead daily team meetings to assign responsibilities aligned with the maintenance plan.
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of repairs, upgrades, and project work.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, focusing on cost control in particular overtime, repairs, renewals—and appropriate staffing levels.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Sustainability Team to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy-related costs.
  • Manage service contracts and vendor relationships
  • Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed of maintenance progress and task completion.
  • Prepare tender documentation for minor works projects.
  • Oversee project delivery to ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and public procurement guidelines.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years plus proven experience in a maintenance management role with a strong electrical background.
  • Excellent working knowledge and understanding of maintenance systems; BMS Systems, HVAC Systems, Electrical and Mechanical plant services and installations, Emergency Systems.
  • Excellent working knowledge of PV and renewable energy systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills/problem solving skills.
  • Proven project and people management skills.
  • Ability to work, make decisions and give direction under pressure.
  • Full driving licence.
