About the role:
The position is Galway-based on site working core hours Monday to Friday with a 1pm Friday finish.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working within the Calibration field with good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and verification across a wide and diverse range of production and test equipment, within a manufacturing cleanroom environment or controlled Calibration lab.
- Independently maintains a daily schedule of work to be performed with minimal supervision within a monthly window. Communicate calibration status with equipment owners and manage on demand worklist.
- Provides guidance and expertise to equipment owners of calibration processes, methods, and measurement process troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, engineering, and production, to address equipment-related concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of calibration procedures and protocols to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Time served or a recognized course completed in electronic/instrumentation/mechanical or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar technical role preferably in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Quality Management systems including documentation practices and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using calibration software and tools for data entry and record keeping.
