Service Manager – Growth Opportunity
Location: Baldonnell, Dublin 22

Reports To: Operations Manager
Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead and support a team of 5 direct reports: Call Desk Manager, Technical Support Desk Manager, and 3 Regional Field Technician Supervisors.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Receive mentorship and training to develop your leadership skills and grow into a strategic management role.

Service Strategy & Performance:

  • Contribute to the development of service strategies aimed at improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Learn to define and monitor key service metrics (KPIs) such as SLA compliance and customer feedback.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and gain exposure to service systems and tools.

Customer Engagement & Contract Support:

  • Support customer engagement efforts and learn the fundamentals of contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with sales and installation teams to ensure service offerings are aligned with customer needs.
  • Build relationships with customers and help identify opportunities for service enhancements.

Field Service Coordination:

  • Work closely with Regional Field Technician Supervisors to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor field service performance and assist in implementing improvements.
  • Coordinate with logistics to maintain stock levels and improve service efficiency.

Commercial & Financial Oversight:

  • Assist in preparing service quotations and learn the basics of service-related financials.
  • Support accurate and timely invoicing processes.
  • Gain exposure to departmental budgeting and cost control practices.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Champion health and safety across all service activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations, with support from the HSEQ Manager.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experienced in supervising or coordinating teams, ideally in a technical or customer service environment.
  • Eager to learn and grow into a senior management role.
  • Comfortable working with customers and solving problems under pressure.
  • Familiar with service operations or technical support (experience in B2B or equipment service is a plus).
  • Proficient in basic service management tools or willing to learn.
  • Full Clean driving licence.

Working hours & Location:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (1-hour break).
Annual Leave: 21 days holidays + 10 Bank Holidays
