Machine Operative
CREGG Recruitment are looking for a full time Machine Operative for our client, manufacturing company based in Ballybane, Galway.
Our client is a company specialized in production of uniforms and garments. Successful individual will be responsible for operating heat press/embroidery machine.
Job description – Machine Operative:
- Setup and operate machine to accurately embroider/heat press logo's and designs to garments.
- Work to agreed timescales and deadlines, prioritise workload & orders efficiently.
- Receive deliveries of stock from Stores and check quantities.
- Dispatch orders with appropriate paperwork, liaise with Sales/Design departments regarding orders/timelines etc.
- Ensure working area is kept clean and tidy.
- Takes part in stock control activities for the area
- Participate in other duties as required
Hours of Work:
- Monday – Friday
- 08:00 – 16:30
Salary and Benefits:
- €14.50 per hour

Job requirements:
- Good attention to detail and high concentration level.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic IT skills in Microsoft Office suite (excel / word / outlook) is desirable.
- Experience of operating a multi head embroidery or any CNC machine an advantage.
- Have flair for working with clothing / garments.
- Excellent time keeping and communication skills.
- Ability to create or modify embroidery designs is an advantage.
Contract type:
- Full time (39 hours per week)
- Permanent/Long Term
