Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing Equipment)

CREGG have open positions for experienced Mechanics/Fitters and experienced Maintenance Technicians with production line maintenance skills to join Galway's world leading multinational medical device manufacturer. Full training provided.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the installation/transfer and validation of new equipment. 
• Troubleshoots production line issues regarding sensors/motors/conveyor systems/robots
• Continually seeks to drive / improvements in process design, layout and operational performance.
• Engaging with technicians, operators, and other cross-functional teams to ensure business process success.
• Contribution in NPI (New Product Introduction) development
• Execute new equipment introductions and carry out validations. 
• Demonstrates good working knowledge and application of validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NFQ Level 6 in a Technical Discipline or trade qualified mechanic/fitter/electrician 
• Automated Manufacturing equipment experience advantageous but not essential
