CREGG are seeking an experienced H&S Engineer to work with Galway's world leading multi-national medical device manufacturer.

About the role:
Working hours: 39hr work week. Monday-Friday with a 1pm Friday finish
Salary: Very competitive with full benefits including pension, healtcare, life assurance etc
As part of the safety team, your role will involve equipment risk assessments, safety reviews, and advising equipment designers on directives and standards relating to equipment safety.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Performing and Co-ordinating hazard and risk assessments for manufacturing equipment built internally by the equipment group
- Safety control system reviews to ensure compliance to standards.
- Ensuring equipment meets appropriate safety requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Qualification (Engineering, Electrical, EHS or other) required.
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, etc.) required.
