Job Overview
Our client, a leading company in the OLED industry, is seeking a skilled Laboratory Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Shannon, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a pioneering organization at the forefront of display technology, contributing to the production of cutting-edge materials used in consumer electronics worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Purify and isolate synthesized molecules under the guidance of experienced chemists
- Package, weigh, sample, and label finished and intermediate products following standard procedures
- Assemble, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment, including reactors and rotary evaporators
- Monitor and adjust equipment to meet production requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation related to production activities and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient laboratory environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Science or Chemistry preferred)
- Experience in process pharmaceutical or fine chemical manufacturing, particularly in a regulated environment (ISO-9001/13485 or cGMP)
- Strong understanding of chemistry and hands-on laboratory experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 20 kg
