Senior Electrician (Permanent)

Job Overview:

The Senior Electrician  oversees all maintenance activities to ensure equipment is well- maintained, available, and compliant with standards. This role manages daily maintenance workflows and supports a safe, efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and completion of reactive and preventative tasks.
• Ensure consistent maintenance practices across the site and share best practices.
• Lead problem-solving efforts using data and root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
• Act as the main point of contact for maintenance, escalating issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with teams to prioritize maintenance activities.
• Supervise and coach the maintenance team with a hands-on approach.
• Promote Health and Safety practices and safe systems of work.

Skills s Attributes:

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and regulations.
• Leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate the team.
• Quick problem solver for complex breakdowns.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems.

Requirements:

• Relevant level 6 Electrical trade.
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with controls, PLCs, and automated equipment.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
