Ireland for initial 6 – 12 months
Travel: Up to 75% Europe-based after initial period 6 – 12-month period

This position will suit a strong Field Service Engineer that enjoys solving complex technical problems and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Must have strong hands-on electrical wiring and plumbing experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone to make a real impact and put their own stamp on things. 

A Field Service Engineer with strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills is required to join a leading semiconductor company.

The Field Service Engineer work across diverse lines, product handling tool set-ups, installations, repairs, PLC troubleshooting, and customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment issues on-site
  • Commission tools, perform retrofits, and provide training to customers
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring, and blueprints
  • Write and troubleshoot PLC code (ladder logic)
  • Lead projects and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified, with experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • Comfortable traveling across Europe (up to 75% post Ireland project)
  • Able to work independently and manage customer-focused projects
