Great opportunity for a hands-on, driven Food Safety & Quality professional to lead the Quality and Technical function within a growing food manufacturing business.

Previous experience working in the food industry with hands on experience leading audits is essential!

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong all-rounder who can hit the ground running and make the role their own.

This role will also suit an experienced Quality Supervisor with strong audit leadership experience looking to step up.

The Role

• Lead and manage all internal and external audits, ensuring the site is audit-ready at all times.
• Take ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (BRCGS, HACCP, regulatory requirements)
• Lead HACCP, internal audit, and traceability systems.
• Manage quality incidents, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Oversee SOPs, training, and site compliance.
• Support NPD and maintain product specifications and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in food manufacturing (any food category considered)
• Strong audit experience is essential, including leading audits.
• Proven ability to ensure audit readiness for inspections.
• Solid knowledge of QMS, BRCGS, and HACCP
• A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work on own initiative.
