The IT Systems Implementation Manager will be responsible for leading technology initiatives and drive operational excellence across the organisation, including sales, production, operations, logistics and finance. The IT Systems Implementation Manager will align our Client’s IT systems with business objectives, optimising processes, implementing digital solutions, leveraging AI, and delivering measurable efficiency gains, across our manufacturing and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Senior Management team, develop and execute the IT strategy, aligned with the business objectives.
- Lead the optimisation of ERP, CRM, Production Planning, and enterprise systems across the organisation.
- Drive system integration and data standardisation initiatives across all IT systems/platforms within the organisation.
- Champion cloud technologies, AI, and modern collaboration tools to streamline processes to enable the teams to focus on value-add activities.
- Leverage data analytics to support decision-making.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies, to map, analyse, enhance, and optimise business processes across the organisation, from order, production and to delivery.
- Manage cross-functional IT and business transformation projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and ensuring project deliverables are effectively achieved.
- Drive user adoption and organisational change initiatives and provide training, documentation, and ongoing support.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement workflow solutions.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance tracking mechanisms.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity.
- Manage IT vendors, contracts, and service-level agreements.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance.
Key Requirements
- 5 years of experience in IT management, systems implementation, or process improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related.
- Experience leading ERP implementations and/or upgrades or digital transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud platforms, AI, and cybersecurity best practices
- Exceptional communication skills, at all levels within the organisation, with a focus on delivering a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable process improvements.
- Project management certification – PMP, PRINCE2 or Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory management, and production planning is also a plus.
