Audit Manager
Our client, a leading professional services firm in Ireland with offices nationwide have a requirement for an Audit Manager to join their team based in their Limerick office.

The Position:
The Audit Senior Manager will have 5+ years PQE experience working in a medium/large practice environment. You will work closely with experienced Partners, Directors and Managers on a portfolio of audit clients across a broad range of sectors such as pharma, manufacturing, technology, services and distribution. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience managing a large and varied client base.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to Partners, working towards the achievement of the firm goals.
- Leading audit and audit exempt assignments from a combined pool of staff to achieve client satisfaction and attainable deadlines.
- Manage and mentor a team of audit professionals.
- Responsible for working to deadlines and within budget on each assignment.
- Management of the firm’s relationship with clients including service delivery and coordination of service offerings from other departments.
- Stay abreast of changes in auditing standards and regulations.
- Involvement in training of junior staff.
- Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the firm.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have the following:
- Qualified Auditor or Accountant (ACA / ACCA).
- You will have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a medium/large practice environment ideally.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Proven track record in managing and developing staff.
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments efficiently.
- Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- Excellent planning and organisational capabilities.
- Ability to provide clear guidance to others.
- Excellent computer-literacy skills.
