CREGG are seeking candidates for this Grants Advisor position with our client based in Cork. The Grant Advisor’s day-to-day duties will include working with the technical sales team, coordinate schedules and arranging assessments. As the first point of contact for the Company, a history with phone and email correspondence is key. Applicants for this position will need exceptional organisation and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound phone calls from homeowners and industry professionals.
- Advise customers on how to begin their home energy upgrade journey.
- Explain available grants, eligibility criteria, and the application process in a clear and accessible way.
- Working closely with industry professionals such as BER assessors, Builders, Architects etc.
- Guide callers on next steps, including internal handovers to relevant teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers feel informed and supported.
- Accurately log customer information, and outcomes in internal systems.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
- Stay up to date with changes to grants, energy upgrade offerings, and internal processes.
Requirements
- Strong communication and phone-based customer service skills.
- Ability to explain technical or process-driven information in simple terms.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple enquiries.
- Confident using CRM systems or internal databases (training provided).
- Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or home energy efficiency (desirable).
- Previous experience in customer service, advisory, call handling, or similar roles is an advantage.
