Quality Inspector – Med Device/Electronics

CREGG Recruitment are looking for a full time Quality Inspector, for our client, a medical device and electronics manufacturer based in Parkmore, Galway.

Quality Inspector – Job description:

• Performing incoming, in-process and final inspection of products, in accordance with acceptance criteria, internal standards and customer requirements.
• Booking on material to the ERP system.
• Assisting in the preparation of work instructions and other product control tests.
• Interaction with production personnel to coordinate inspection activities.
• Reporting non-conforming material.
• Preparing Certificates of Compliance, test reports.
• Reporting performance of inspection activities.
• Maintaining files of drawings and production travellers.
• Maintaining neat and orderly work area.
• Potentially assisting in other areas or performing other duties as required by fluctuating business needs.

Salary:

• €35,000 – 40,000 per year (depending on previous xp and qualifications)

Hours of Work:

• Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 – 15:30

Job requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience doing similar work in an industrial production environment.
• Experience with precise measuring instruments such as low-pressure micrometres and callipers.
• Knowledge of ESD basic protocols.
• Knowledge of basic MS Office i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Parylene coating and printed circuit board experience is preferred but not essential.
