Medical Device Production Operative – 4 Day Working Week

CREGG Recruitment are looking for Production Operatives in Spiddal, Co. Galway.

Our client is a large, international medical device production company, looking to grow and expand their business. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are looking to start or grow career in medical device production industry, one of the largest and fastest growing industries in the world.

This is a full time, permanent position, with guaranteed 39 hours per week.

Please note we have both Day Shift and Evening Shift options available.

Job description – Production Operative:

• Assemble, inspect, test and operate equipment to manufacture products.
• Inspect and test products and check statistical process control.
• Label and pack product to customer specification.
• Complete all production documentation as per company’s quality system.

Hours of Work – 4 Day Working Week:

Day Shift

• Monday – Thursday: 06:30 – 16:45

Evening Shift

• Monday – Wednesday: 17:00 – 03:30
• Thursday: 17:00 – 02:30

Guaranteed 39 hours a week plus opportunities for Overtime hours (voluntary) at higher rate, depending on business requirements.

Salary: Weekly payment

• €14.50 Day shift
• €17.11 Evening shift

Job requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience highly desirable.
• Excellent English in both verbal and written form.
• Own transport ESSENTIAL, due to location and hours of work.
• Excellent attention to details.

Contract type:

• Full time (39 hours per week)
• Permanent contract (after successful probation period of 3 months).
