Calibration Technician – Galway 

Calibration Technician required for a leading medical device company in Galway.
Ideal opportunity for a recent Graduate and/or with experience in Calibration, instrumentation, electronics, mechanical filed. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration and verification across a wide and diverse range of production and test equipment, within a manufacturing cleanroom environment or controlled Calibration lab.
  • Independently maintains a daily schedule of work to be performed with minimal supervision within a monthly window. Communicate calibration status with equipment owners and manage on demand worklist.
  • Provides guidance and expertise to equipment owners of calibration processes, methods, and measurement process troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, engineering, and production, to address equipment-related concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of calibration procedures and protocols to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Time served or a recognized course completed in electronic/instrumentation/mechanical or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar technical role preferably in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management systems including documentation practices and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using calibration software and tools for data entry and record keeping.
