General Operator – Life Sciences

CREGG are looking for General Operators for short term contract work in Shannon, County Clare.

Our client is a growing life sciences manufacturing company, looking to add more staff for their day shift production requirements.

Job Description – General Operator:

• Preparing materials and equipment
• Performing manufacturing operations 
• Preparation of orders, processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials. packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area of the warehouse.
• Documenting activities accurately and assisting in troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
• Operation of machines in line with production schedule and quality targets.
• Keep an accurate log of work carried out and all adjustments.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat.
• Maintaining clean shipping area, complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Complete all process documentation 

Hours of work:

• Monday – Thursday, 08:30 – 5.00pm
• Friday, 08:30 – 16:00

Total 39 hours per week

Rate of Pay:

• €14.30 per hour

Job requirements -General Operator:

• Self-motivated and strong work ethic.
• Previous hands on experience.
• Good interpersonal skills, with energy and “can-do” attitude.
• Experience with Microsoft office tools or equivalent.

Contract Type:

• 2 month contract – potential of ongoing work and permanent position depending on business needs.
