Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Engineering professional with strong expertise in Electronic, Production, and Manufacturing Engineering. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in bringing innovative products from concept to full-scale production, while continuously improving processes and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

New Product Introduction (NPI):
Lead the end-to-end NPI process, including project planning, development, and successful launch of new products—ensuring delivery on time and within budget. -
Project Leadership:
Drive internal manufacturing projects using structured methodologies such as LEAN, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement. -
Digital Transformation:
Lead and support digitalisation initiatives, including system implementations and rollouts across manufacturing operations. -
Performance & Delivery:
Track project progress against defined milestones, proactively managing risks and ensuring successful outcomes. -
Quotations & Costing:
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for new product opportunities. -
Process Development:
Introduce robust, scalable manufacturing processes with a strong focus on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD). -
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance existing products and processes, implementing improvements that drive measurable results. -
Customer Collaboration:
Work closely with customers throughout the design-to-manufacture lifecycle, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 standards. -
Cross-functional Support:
Contribute to customer onboarding, relationship management, and support broader team objectives. -
Production Planning:
Assist in scheduling and planning to optimise manufacturing efficiency. -
Documentation & Systems Management:
Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical drawings, and specifications (including AutoCAD updates). -
Training & Development:
Develop operator instructions and deliver training for both new and existing equipment. -
Equipment & Maintenance Oversight:
Support routine equipment checks, ensuring optimal performance and timely resolution of issues. -
Layout & Process Optimisation:
Improve production line layouts to enhance workflow, efficiency, and ergonomics. -
Supplier Engagement:
Collaborate with subcontractors and third-party manufacturers to ensure quality and consistency. -
Health & Safety:
Champion a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with PPE and EH&S standards at all times.
Candidate Profile

Degree (Level 7/8) in Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering

Strong knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies

Experience in digitalisation initiatives within manufacturing

Proven track record in a manufacturing environment
