Warehouse Operator – Temp

CREGG are hiring a Warehouse Operator for our client in Limerick. 

This is a fixed term position for 3 months. 

Shift – 
Monday- Friday 
8am – 4pm 

Pay Rate – Competitive rate – For the right candidate 

The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for day-to-day receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders or managing, organising and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Must comply with work instructions related to job function
• Will be held accountable to performance standards to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)
• Works collaboratively with peers and internal customers
• Proactively logs and escalates potential issues in order to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and / or operational inefficiencies
• Participate in root cause, corrective / preventive action activities as required.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order
• Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order.
• Move stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage areas, and production areas either manually or using equipment such as forklifts.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Ability to effectively communicate in English. 
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 34lbs
• Must be able to bend, scoop and reach to perform above duties.
• Experience in a yard/warehouse environment
• Forklift license is desirable – Counterbalance
