Material Handler

CREGG Recruitment are currently hiring a Material Handler on Day shift for our client in Tulla, Clare 

Role is in East Clare own transport is required 

Days – Mon – Thurs 8:00am-4.30pm, Friday 8:00am – 3.30pm

Pay rate – €20.99 hr 
Contract – Temp 6 month with a view to extension 

Must have Material Handler Experience and forklift licence 

Responsibilities –

• This role is primarily responsible for managing inventory and material flow, which includes supplying production lines, requisitioning stock, moving finished goods to the warehouse, and conducting cycle counts.
• Additionally, the position handles the disposal of expired stock, fulfills requisition orders for other departments, and assists with the packing, labelling, and preparation of kit components.
• Finally, tasks involve performing kit or vial inspections and operating specialized equipment once the necessary training has been completed.

General:

• This role is heavily focused on regulatory compliance, requiring strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, quality systems, and environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• The individual must maintain neat, accurate documentation while following all established housekeeping rules, dress codes, and operational procedures.
• Additionally, the position demands adaptability to changes in production processes or equipment and requires the ability to train other personnel as needed.

Education and experience needed – 

• Leaving certificate 
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment within safe limits, any other physical requirements
• Ability to communicate well both within and outside the department with peers and colleagues 
• Material Handler experience 
• Forklift certificate – Reach
