Exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded Business Operations Manager to join a well-established, small sized technology business operating within the industrial automation sector.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Operations Manager, Head of Operations or Business Unit Manager looking for a broad and autonomous leadership role within a growing technical business.
Role Profile
This broad leadership role offers responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the Cork operation, encompassing operations, customer support, technical teams and supply chain activities.
Working closely with European sales leadership, you will help drive business performance, customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.
The role offers significant autonomy and would suit a hands-on leader who enjoys taking ownership, building teams and driving continuous improvement within a technical SME environment.
Key Requirements
- Proven leadership experience within a technical, engineering, electronics, industrial automation or manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing business operations within an SME, business unit or regional operation.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting and business performance management.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving operational improvements.
- Strong customer focus, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on, pragmatic leadership style with the ability to balance strategic and operational priorities.
- Experience within industrial technology, automation, electronics or a related sector would be advantageous.
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Business, Operations Management or a related discipline preferred.
