Field Service Technician
Job purpose:
Our client is looking for a field service technician to install service and maintain the suite of Petrol Station Equipment including Dispensers, Tank gauges, EPOS systems and Media solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain remotely or onsite systems installed and supported by the company
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Repair, modify, and test electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment associated with forecourt equipment.
- Controlling and co-ordinating, with the Field Supervisor, the daily workloads for field technicians to ensure maximum efficiency and utilisation of field technicians while maintaining successful SLA % and customer satisfaction.
- Produce timely and accurate service reports.
- Ensure all calls are attended promptly and within set SLA.
- Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and in good working order at all times.
- Ensure compliance with set HSSE guidelines.
Education and experience:
- 3rd Level Qualification Higher Certificate and/or Trade Qualification (or equivalent in expereince)
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
- Ability to voltage test AC/DC single and three phase supplies.
- Understanding of PC Hardware and Architecture.
- Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to prioritise issues based on business urgency.
- Following and executing company policies and objectives.
- The ability to function successfully as part of a team
- Clean driving licence.
- Strong customer service skills with ability to interact confidently and professionally with end customer.
- Good communication skills.
