Location: Shannon, Co. Clare

Type: Permanent, Full-time

The Opportunity

CREGG Recruitment is currently recruiting a Global Product Manager for an innovative organisation operating within the medical device and MedTech sector in Shannon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Device Product Manager to take responsibility for a broad portfolio of product management, commercialisation and marketing activities across international markets.

Working closely with senior commercial leadership, clients, surgeons and cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will support products throughout their lifecycle — from identifying market opportunities and customer needs through to commercialisation, product launch and ongoing market development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Product Management activities across new and existing medical products.

  • Conduct market, competitor and commercial opportunity analysis.

  • Develop market models and commercial business cases for new products.

  • Manage Voice of Customer activities and gather market requirements.

  • Develop relationships with surgeons, KOLs and clinical stakeholders.

  • Support advisory boards and clinical meetings.

  • Develop product commercialisation and go-to-market strategies.

  • Determine product positioning, pricing and target markets.

  • Develop compelling value propositions based on clinical and customer needs.

  • Support new product launches and commercial execution.

  • Develop product marketing plans and campaigns.

  • Manage trade shows, events and other promotional activity.

  • Work closely with clients and internal cross-functional teams.

  • Identify potential distributors, licensing partners and commercial opportunities.

  • Support international business development and client acquisition activities.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • 3–5+ years' Product Management experience within Medical Devices or MedTech.

  • Experience within orthopaedics, biologics, surgical products or another relevant medical device environment.

  • Strong product commercialisation and launch experience.

  • Excellent market analysis and commercial skills.

  • Experience developing product positioning, pricing and go-to-market strategies.

  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.

  • Experience engaging with clinicians, surgeons or KOLs would be highly advantageous.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Master's degree or MBA would be advantageous.

  • Project Management experience or certification would be beneficial.

  • Ability to manage multiple international projects and priorities.

  • Availability to travel internationally approximately 30% of the time.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Product Manager looking to take on a genuinely international role combining Product Management, commercialisation, marketing and client engagement.
