Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Limerick

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join a global medical device organisation in Limerick. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of key manufacturing processes and drive improvements across yield, quality, stability and efficiency.

What you’ll do

• Own and improve manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on line yield and process stability.

• Lead continuous improvement projects that deliver measurable improvements in quality, efficiency and cost.

• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and drive effective root-cause and corrective actions.

• Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to deliver process improvements.

• Support Change Control, NCR/CAPA and process improvement activities.

• Utilise MES and manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

• Support new equipment, processes and technologies through to implementation.
• Execute equipment validations: IQ, OQ, PQ 

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Strong experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.

• Proven track record in process improvement, yield improvement and problem solving.

• Experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals or another regulated manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

• Experience with Change Control, MES, NCR/CAPA would be a strong advantage.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
