Production Operative – Electronics/Medical Device

CREGG are looking for Electronics/Medical Device Production Operatives for full time, long term work in Parkmore, Co. Galway.

Our client is a large electronic device production company, looking to add a full time, permanent staff member to their production team.

We are looking for a person who has exceptional attention to details and high level of dexterity.

Job description – Production Operative:

• Mask and/or tape circuit boards in areas that are to be free of coating/paint.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure proper coating coverage.
• Maintain the coating and dispensing machines to ensure proper operating condition.
• Maintain machines including changing the fluids and mixers and cleaning machines to ensure proper and efficient operation.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to provide a safe and clean working environment at all times.
• Knowledge of various materials used.
• Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor to accommodate fluctuating production requirements.

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
• 08:00 – 16:45 (08:00 – 14:30 on Friday)

Rate of Pay:

• €16.00 per hour

Job requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience in electronics/med device industry – min 2 years.
• Experience with masking/de-masking electrical components (preference).
• Previous knowledge of working with electronic circuit boards, wires, etc.
• Exceptional attention to details.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

We are looking for candidates who are flexible to start within 2 weeks' notice.

Please note Production Operative role is a full time, long term position.
