Checkout Operative
CREGG are looking for a full time Checkout/Front Desk Operative for long term work in Doughiska, Galway.
Job description:
- Insuring accurate, professional and speedy processing of customer orders through checkout
- Handling money efficiently and accurately
- Communicating effectively with customers and staff
- Ensuring compliance with the Wholesale Standards Programme.
- Dealing with customer queries in a professional manner
- Monitoring and reporting shortages in either stock or cash
- Customer service queries
- Assisting with customer sales
Rate of Pay – Weekly payment:
- €15.36 per hour
Hours of Work:
- Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
- (occasional Saturday may be required)
Job requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers
- Strong numerical ability
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative
- Excellent IT Skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Be dedicated and flexible
Contract type:
- Full time (39 hours a week)
- 3 month contract (possible long term/permanent)
