IT Support Technician

IT Support Technician- 2 Month Contract
The IT Support Technician will be responsible for the daily maintenance of company ICT systems, reporting to the IT Manager and liaising with the Network Administrator. 
The IT Support Technician will provide deskside support & will set up user devices with email accounts and various other software packages. 

Key Responsibilities:   

  • Set up user devices with email accounts and various other software packages. 
  • Install and configure appropriate software on a per user basis.
  • Maintain local networks in ways that maintain and improve performance.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems are kept updated.
  • Provide support to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Organize and schedule upgrades on user devices without disrupting workflow.
  • Perform troubleshooting to resolve network or computer related issues.
  • Provide remote support to Global team members.
  • Maintain user accounts through Office 365.
  • Create, modify, and maintain user permissions on SharePoint.
  • Maintain printer and scanner functionality and liaise with vendors for any further troubleshooting.
  • Execute other tasks as assigned. 

 
Key Requirements:   

  • Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, and Networking experience essential.
  • 2-3 years’ experience personally serving at a Help Desk or IT Support function.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Technician, L3 Helpdesk or relevant position is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
  • Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, and Networking experience essential.
